Bowling FHE

A fun FHE bowling at BYU, everyone had a blast except little sweet Josie! Somehow she dropped a bowling ball on her big toe. She cried and cried and ended up losing the toenail a few days later! Poor thing! So enjoy some of these funny action shots of the kids!

Mariana's Prom!

Right after we flew home from seeing Wicked in LA, Mariana had to get ready for Prom! She went on the day date, tried to take a nap, had her hair done, and she appeared like this, a true beauty! Her date was Ryan Paxman, a nice boy from the ward. She had a great time and was glad to have had the big Prom experience! We love you Mariana!

WICKED!!!!

For Christmas, Chloe and Mariana got tickets to see Wicked in LA! As the time got closer, we realized that Prom (for Mariana) was the next day so our trip had to be short. We left early friday morning, and came home even earlier on Saturday morning. It was fast, fun and exhausting! We loved every minute of it!

We got there early enough to have breakfast at the beach...avocado omelet, whole grain pancakes, fruit...it was amazing!

Then Chloe and Mariana had some fun playing with the waves!

Then we went to Santa Monica and shopped and shopped! Our feet were so tired!

Chloe thought the dinosaur fountains were crazy...such a cool chick!

Our hotel was right down town in Hollywood! The pool was on the 5th floor, so it was fun to be up by all the bill boards!

We had an awesome Italian dinner at Bella's before the show!

We made it! We are at Wicked! We were giddy with excitement and the show didn't disappoint!

Spring Break from he_ _!

I don't want to remember this, let alone blog about it, but this was the week that made me never want to leave home...in a nut shell...

Moab...
Josie threw up 17 times in the hotel...
Rock threw up in the Unimog and it splattered our friend Riki Laws in the face...
Rock threw up 2 more times in a condo toilet...
Chloe threw up and slept in it until Mariana came and got us....
The one day we felt good, the wind blew so hard you couldn't open your mouth or you would get grit in your teeth....
The rest of our friends continued on to St. George where they all threw up and cursed us....
Can you blame them???

Yes, Josie found Lola's water and decided to take a drink! And it was the second time this week! Full face in For some reason the warm slimy film on top of the water doesn't seem to bother her...crazy child!

Cul de Sac Egg Hunt

Each year, Eric and Laurie Pope plan an amazing neighborhood egg hunt the Saturday before Easter. Each family brings 12 eggs per child and then fun food to share at the brunch! It is so fun and it is something the kids anticipate for days! Thanks Popes for the great memories!

Mariana is so awesome to help with Josie all of the time!
