TODAY I GOT TO WEAR A TUTU!
THE NUTCRACKER 5K! This year I was so excited because Truman and Chloe wanted to run it with me!

Truman even agreed to wear a tutu...blue, but still a tutu! What a stud!

Chloe already had her tutu from Halloween, but she looked extra sassy with her scarf, hat and sparkle leg warmers!

I was also thrilled because a long time (hardly seen) friend Janae Moss decided to join the insanity with her daughter Whitney! Janae is just my kind of girl, up for fun anytime!

Proof we were all there together and Whitney showing us her MAD SKILLS!

Chloe and I were trying to show our lame splits, luckily the tutus covered the missing inches!

This is the whole group! Not everyone knew each other, but after this, we are bound by the tutu!

The long time running crew, that has done a few races together and always laughs and has fun together!

Chloe with Whitney and Bailey Lovell! Bailey and Chloe have put in quite a few miles training for this. It is always so valuable to have a running friend that helps you take those first few steps! It also helps when your running partner's mom meets you at the 7-11 for a slurpee...Thanks Leigh Anne!

All these awesome kids ready to run a 5K! They are awesome, I didn't run my first 5k until I was in my 20s! They are such studs!

Hans came for the start and took some fun pics before the race. It was cold! I think about 25 degrees, luckily the sun was shining, and that helped!

Kathy and Gretchen were the first of our group to come in, and they were the 3rd and 4th women! Such studettes!

Then it was Jake...what serious determination!

I love her, who has energy for this after a 5K? Plus, who can do this? She rocks!

Then it was our friends Karen Wynn, Lori McBride and Lori's twin girls!

Truman and I came next, he even had the energy to sprint in, WOW! He said it was the hardest thing he has ever done, and doesn't want to do it again! I hope he forgets like I do! You are awesome Tru, you were so tough!

Bailey and Chloe were next and Kayler Pope, Laurie, Grace Larsen, Steph and Sadie Knell all followed closely behind! They all did great and it was a tough course! Way to go girls!

Chloe was doing some fun dance moves, but we never caught them...cute thing!

Janae and Whitney came in with the most style...for sure! PS. Did I mention Whitney has never really run before...no training, just decided last night to do it and she was awesome!
Our fave babysitter Ashley came in next, she had the best fan base! Great job Ash!
