So training for another event has begun!This year it's the WASATCH BACK...... here is how they describe it....
Think of it as a 188-mile party with 12 best friends. Teams of 12 will rock out to live bands, enjoy the wacky participant costumes, and make life-long friends with teammates and competitors. Teams will party along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains from Logan (85 miles north of Salt Lake City) to Park City, Utah (15 miles east of Salt Lake City).
I'm leg 3 and hope to run all 18.4 miles. It sounds really adventurous and fun, I'm dang excited!
One of the best parts of this event, is the pre race fun!
We've had two planning meetings, that included cupcakes, food, party favors and tons of laughing.
Our team color is pink and Hans, the stud, created this awesome logo for out team.....
Yes, our team name is....The Housewives of the UC
It's all in total fun.
We even have "Spice" names, because as our Captain says,
"A little bit of sweet, a whole lot of spice!"
Or Sass as the case may be.
We all came up with them together, I'm
Gourmet Spice
(It's cute, but a little too much pressure!)

ps. I am doing this race too!!! A friend of mine convinced me to do it with her group. I am totally excited for it but slightly nervous too (ok, fine, more nervous!). however, reading your post makes me realize how fun it might actually be. i love your guys' logo! cute!
I think I'm doing the race again, too with Jeff's office. I ran leg 2 before--I think you've got a sweet leg and you will totally do awesome!I'm sure we'll "run" into you all!
I love this post. I totally need to copy it for my records. It's probably best to post while I'm excited instead of after when I'm beat down tired :)
