Day 2 starts out at the Olympic Park..... in Park City of course!
A little bobsled fun.
We rode the chairlift to the top of the alpine slide....
Truman on his way...
Josie and I waited at the bottom while the big kids did the zip-line with Dad.
While we were at the Olympic Park, we watched some of the ski jumpers practice landing in the pools. Right as they are about to land, tons of air shoots up from the bottom of the pool so the jumper lands softly and barely goes under water. I wanted to do it!
After we left the Olympic Park, we went over to the Canyons and were lucky because the lift was open. It usually is closed during the off season, but today the Farmer's Market was open in the parking lot at the bottom. So we rode to the lift up and bought tickets for the Gondola. Our plan was to ride up to the top for lunch!
The lift is a fun high speed one, the kids were fascinated!
The "kids meals" at the top were served on Frisbee, so when they were done, they went out and played some Frisbee golf. Brilliant!
Then we couldn't help but pose for a fun mountain shot....
with a little goofy....and abs.
Amazing view in the gondola.
The frisbee plate!
Chloe jumped off and onto her own lift....felt free as a bird!
After we got to the bottom, we spent the next two hours at the Park City Farmer's market. I was having so much fun that I didn't get my camera out once. We bought tie died shirts, pancake mix, handmade leather baby shoes, a fork figured sculpture, leather bracelets and a lot of treats! It was such a fun market!
Another great day! We had to end a little early today to get back to an evening church activity, but we still have more planned for Day 3!
