Washington DC

July 2012
Whenever Hans has a business trip to a place I've never been, I always find a way to go with him. This time it was our nation's capitol! After flying in, we were ready for some dinner....Hans had a favorite in mind.
The lobster was grilled....man it was good!

The rest of the days were filled with museums, monuments and food!  It was a delightful trip!

The Holocaust museum was definitely my favorite.  So many meaningful architectural aspects...like the glass roof....the concentration camp victims always delighted in being able to see the sky.  It was a very moving place, a definite spirit in that museum.  I hope to take the kids there some day.

While Hans worked one day, I cruised around some of the Smithsonian museums, but spent most of my time at the National Gallery of Art! Thiebauld's "Cakes", Picasso's "Le Gourmet" and always my favorite...Seraut.
Always thankful for this guy for letting me tag along.  He is the best!
