You know those little cups your kindergartner brings home with a tiny little seedling in it? Yes, the one we usually over water and kill, and then I secretly throw it in the garbage.... Well, not this year, Rock was as persistent as usual and that little plant made it to the garden and was actually planted.
Look at those pumpkins!!!
No matter it took over the garden, the sheer joy of watching these huge things grow was so worth it!
This is Rock, our master pumpkin-eer!
They are now featured in the pots by our front steps!

Wow...does Kevin know that he has some competition for growing outrageously large pumpkins? Maybe Rock can start wearing Grinch Christmas sweaters too! Just to keep it going...
