Hans had to work my last day in London, so luckily I had these guys to hang out with.
We decided to head back to Camden and then head to Oxford Circus and Bond Street for some shopping! It was raining, so we loved that they had built coverings even between the buildings! On the left side you can see the stalls for the stables.
This was one of the craziest things we saw.... their slogan was "Weird but Wonderful!" Theoretically, the fish only eat dead skin.... it was closed, but I don't know if anyone would have dared....
I was loving that green monster back pack. I wish I had a younger boy that would have loved it too!
We headed to Selfridges because we had heard that they were opening the world's largest shoe department on that day! So we went to check it out! It was big.... and expensive.... 715 pounds for a pair of designer shoes...With the exchange rate, that is about $1200. However, I think Macy's in NY was about the same size, just not as many outrageous ones!
We met up with Hans after his training, and our friend Vern who will hopefully be working for Why Try some day. We went to The Good Earth which was a family favorite when we lived there.... my friends indulged me and let me order all my old faves.....sesame prawn toast, fried sea weed and aromatic duck with pancakes and plum sauce. I took this picture to send to Tricia to make her jealous! It was amazing, it tasted exactly how it did in 1985! Crazy huh? Luckily the whole dinner party liked it too!
Well after a nice walk back to the hotel, the trip was over.... Dirk, Gretchen and I made plans to meet early in the morning to catch the tube out to Heathrow. Hans and Abe got to stay a little while longer for work.
But remember when I said no one dared.... well I was wrong.... Abe was the man when he and Hans went back on Saturday!
WOW!

I loved reading about your London trip! It looked like it was amazing and makes me want to go there so badly now. But I am a little bitter you didn't make a quick stop in our parts before heading home.... haha. Love all the pictures- you look so stylin in your cute outfits/scarfs. You would fit right in here in Denmark. Glad you guys had a great time but seriously, come visit US next time!!!
