I don't want to even admit this, and there aren't any pictures to go with it, but here goes.....
We went to the ER
again!
Monday night (2:30 am) Josie came into our room, we try to not let them in our bed so we have a blanket and tons of pillows we use to help them be comfy on the floor. We set her up and immediately she started coughing. I said to Hans,
"This is not going to work for me..."
He was so nice to get up and give her some cough syrup and put her back in her bed with the humidifier in her room.
The next morning I was helping her get dressed and she said,
"I feel good now 'cause I had medicine."
"You did? What medicine?"
"That medicine from last night.".... pointing to the high shelf above her dresser.
"Did you take the lid off?"
"No Daddy forgot!"
After a call to poison control, and finding out only 4 tsp of this medicine could put her into seizures or a coma....we were headed to the ER for observation.
Because I'm rude,
and I was a lot upset,
I called Hans and told him that he had to take her. After they left I felt guilty and found an awesome friend that would take Rock for kindergarten and headed down there. After 90 minutes of the medicine in her body and no changes at all, they were certain that she was going to be fine. We just had to keep and eye on her.
The Dr. there said I looked familiar and I asked him if he went to Provo High and he said no, then he asked if I was famous.....
This sent Hans into some pretty hard laughter.
We both said it was because I've been in the ER so often the last two months!
What a hoot!
What really got me was he thought I was famous with no make up on! Woo Hoo!
We are grateful Josie is ok and are trying to be more coherent at 2:30 am!

that child is a rascal! Meg did the same thing once, only it was half a bottle of Pamol (kiddie tynalol).... my kids always loved that stuff because it is sweet and I never gave them lollies. After she chugged half a bottle I upped their sugar intake in regular life :)
